Just write what you want or see as.You need to think of something that looks like a right triangle because you can apply the Pythagorean theorem in that triangle. Once you get the shape think of something that looks like that, (Example) like a skateboard ramp. Be creative and think about just having the opposite leg and the adjacent and not the hypotenuse. Draw your ramp and apply the Pythagorean theorem to find your hypotenuse.
