let's try this by graphing a line. first select line from the toolbar. then plot the points (0, -1) and (1, -2). once you plot the second point, the line will automatically connect.
to plot a segment, select segment from the toolbar. then select points (0,3) and (1,2).
to explore other options, let's try moving the segment you plotted. select the move button from the toolbar. move the segment to where it passes through points (0,4) and (1,3).
