Random walk problem. in class we discussed the binomial distribution and used it to calculate the probability distribution for the position of a drunk who takes 10 steps total away from a lamppost, assuming equal probability that s/he steps left or right. this gives rise to a "bell-shaped" distribution akin to the gaussian distribution. in class we calculated the results for positions /- 0, 4, or 8 steps away from the post. suppose the drunk was also a war veteran, and had suffered injuries to her/his left leg, such that s/he stepped to the right with higher probability than to the left. take it as 0.6 probability to the right, and 0.4 to the left. calculate the results for positions /- 0, 4, or 8 steps away from the post, and sketch the resultant distribution. how is this distribution different from the previous one
