a cuboid has a square base.
the length of the base of the cuboid is 'y' cm.
the height of the cuboid is twice the length of its base.
the total surface area of the cuboid is 360 cm2.
find the height of the cuboid.

the lenght is y, the width is also y since the base is a square and since the height is twice the lenght it will be 2y, knowing that we just find the total surface area in terms of y.

which would be: 2(y·y) + 2(y·2y) + 2(2y·y)=360

this then simplifies to=  10y²=360

                                  = y²=36

                                  = y =6

the height therefore is 2y meaning its 2(6)=12

this problem was rather easy its so sad no one helps out in here totally hate this site wish more people helped
