What is the degree of x5 – 4х + 2?

Nooo its not one I’m sorry you were right in a way but when the app scanned the question the 5 wasn’t put as an exponent the degree is the highest exponent of the variables. So the degree is 5 if that first one is x^5

But you were also correct with 1 just the app wrote the problem wrong.
