I've never really been able to understand shapes so well. can someone me out with just this one question?

using a pre-image you should be able to perform a translation and a rotation and write mathematical
notation for each.
a. show the transformation and write the function rule for a translation if you want to move the
pre-image seven units to the left and two units up?
b. what do you need to know in order to do a rotation? complete a
rotation of your choice and identify the rule for this.
