How do the areas of triangle abc and def compare?

the area of △abc is 1 square unit less than the area of △def.
the area of △abc is equal to the area of △def.
the area of △abc is 1 square unit greater than the area of △def.
the area of △abc is 2 square units greater than the area of △def.

The area of a triangle is answered by getting the half of the product between its height   and the length of its base(a=(heigth*base)/2). according to the question in comparing both two triangles without any measurement could possibly be confusing but if you could get the areas of the two triangle you could compare that both could or not equal
