How to solve a linear equation/give it three ordered pairs when you don’t know what the “x” is? i’m really struggling with my plato lessons and it makes me really upset like i’m gonna fail.

-3y = 5x - 7
i have to find three ordered pairs.
i have no idea how to solve this. i know how to solve it only if i know what the x is, because it explained how to in the other plato lessons, but the explanation for how to do it without them telling you what it is, practically nonexistent (or maybe i’m just dumb). show me how to solve linear equations, not just the equation, in detail because i’m really struggling and i feel worthless. the khan academy videos only show you how to when you know what the x is, too.
