Side a of a triangle is twice side b. side c is 2m shorter than side a. the perimeter is 98m. find the length of each side. this is what is was working on, but at the end, when i added up the sides, they did not equal 98m. a + b + c = perimeter a= 2b, b= b, c= a-2 or 2b - 2 2b + b + 2b - 2 = 98 5b = 100 b = 25m therefore, 98 = 50 + 25 + 48, but it doesn't a b c can you explain, ? a b c
