What value represents the horizontal translation from the graph of the parent function f(x) = x2 to the graph of the function
g(x) = (x – 4)2 + 2?

The vertex form of the quadratic function: 
y = a ( x - h )² + k, where ( h, k ) are coordinates of  vertex.
If the function is: g(x) = ( x - 4 )² + 2, the coordinates of vertex are ( 4, 2 ), the horizontal translation represents value k = 4 . The function translates horizontally to the right for the value of 4 and vertically up to the value of 2.

Not sure what the question is but i hope this x = years100 * x

Y= -2x-1 the negative in front of the 2 is because the slope is negative and the -1 is because it’s down 1 on the y axis.
