A particle moves on a circle of radius 4 cm, centered at the origin, in the xy-plane (x and y measured in centimeters). It starts at the point (0,4) and moves counterclockwise, going once around the circle in 11 seconds. (a) Write a parameterization for the particle's motion.
x(t) =,
y(t) =
SO annoying...I really thought I had this with x(t) equal to -4sin 2pi/11 * t and y(t) = 4cos 2pi/11 * t
I got the speed right, 8pi/11 cm/s but that was easy.
Please explain in great detail how you go about doing this problem... I need to know exactly what is going on..so if you want the points, show the work with explanation.
