In a ratio of 7:1, Jim would have seven times more money than Krutika. We can write this as shown;

J=k+66

If we set both of these true equations equal to each other, we get;

k+66=7k

We can subtract k from both sides;

k-k+66=7k-k

You could also plug 11 in for k to find Jim’s money, but you don’t need to sooo.
