Service times average 0.25 days, with an exponential distribution.
(a) Determine the average time an aircraft must wait in the queue before maintenance begins.
(b) What percent of the time does the service bay have an aircraft in it?
(c) Calculate the average time in the system.
(d) What is the average number of aircraft waiting to be worked on?
(e) There is limited space for parking the aircraft waiting to be serviced. What is the probability that more than two aircraft will be in the system at any given time? Hint: The "system" includes the line and the service bay.
