Solving these expressions the easiest way known to mankind

When they want you to simplify a equation your just combining like terms to each other for instance:

Problem: 1

9(6 -8b)-3

So your going to multiply 9 by 6 and -8b to make them 54 and -72b. Since you did the parenthesis first your equation looks like this:

54 -72b -3

So now you add or more over subtract -3 to 54 to get 51 making the equations look like this

51-72b

They really try to confuse you when it comes to these problems especially when they throw 4 different letters into a problem for instance:

4b + 6 -9n +6f+ 3b +8n

Making the problem look like this:

7b + 6 + n +6f

SO, when they want you to solve for the answers and you have to show work they are more then likely to ask you to add variables then anything just make sure to use the order of operations. I won’t give you the answers because you’re a smart kid and you have brain cells.
