Lindsey bought a new candle in the base of the candle covers an area of 19.625 in.². She plans on putting the candle into a ball with a radius of 2 inches but isn’t sure that this will fit. She calculates the radius of the candle to be 1.5 inches and thinks it will fit, but her friend Amy says the radius is 2.5 inches and that is too large for the ball. Who is correct and Willie candle fit into the bowl?
