Divide by 21 on both sides.

x = 19

Amount that Bill gets = 9x

                                   = 9 × 19

                                   = 171

The amount of money that Bill gets £171.

4/6 = 2/3

so it should take 3/3 hours per man. so 9 hours is the answer 3*3 =9
