Are these equations correct?
A person invested $8000 for one year, part at 6%, part at 8%, and the remained at 11%. The total income from
these investments was $635. The amount of money invested at 11% was $500 more than the amount invested at
the 6% and 8% combined.
( x + y + z = 8000
6x + 8y + 112 = 635
( z = 500 + x + y
