3. A box contains 5 black shirts, 9 blue shirts, 7 black pants, and 8 blue pants. Determine the probability of randomly selecting a black piece of clothing or a shirt. Use P (A or B) = P (A and B) to explain your answer.

My
P (A or A) = P(A) + P(B)

P(A) = 7 / 29

P(B) = 9 / 29

P (A or B) = 16 / 29
