The waist to hip ratio (whr) is a ratio, commonly expressed as a decimal that has been shown to be a good predictor of possible cardiovascular problems in both men and women. if a male has a whr greater than 1 he is considered to be at high risk for cardiovascular problems. calculate the whr of a male with a waist measurement of 40 inches and hip measurement 2 inches less.
