Check:

f(x) = 2*x^3 -  4*x^2 - 9*x + 1

f(2) = 2*2^3 - 4*2^2 - 9*2 + 1 = 16 - 16 - 18 +1 = -17

=> Same as the calculated value.

=> Solution: -17
