The operator of a beachfront hotel in a tropical island wishes to select a new paint for the hotel’s exterior walls. Five plywood samples are used for testing each paint. The hours needed in order for the paint to begin to peel are listed below: • Paint A: 25, 27, 28, 28, and 30 hours. • Paint B: 23, 28, 30, 31, and 32 hours. • Paint C: 30, 31, 33, 33, and 37 hours. The hotel operator believes that there is no fundamental difference in longevity/endurance between the three types of paint. Do you agree or disagree? Perform ANOVA to justify your answer.
