We want to do a taste test comparing the flavor of two new zero calorie colas, "Cola Zero" and "The Null Cola." We had 25 people taste one of the new colas and give us a flavor score between 0 and 10. 0 for bad flavor and 10 for great flavor. Then we had the same 25 people taste the other cola and rate its flavor in the same way (which cola was tasted first was determined by a random method). After the tasting, the difference between the taste score for "Cola Zero" and the taste score for "The Null Cola" was calculated for all 25 participants. The sample mean for the 25 differences was 1.3 and the sample standard deviation for the 25 differences was 1.9. Is there a significant difference between the taste scores for the two colas?
