40 bro, why would you have your first born at 16. A child at 16 would most likely under the care of their parents and are financially and mentally stable to raise a child. Not saying raising a child at 16 is not possible but it would be extremely difficult. :p

My parents had me when they were practically 40, so its definetly possible. Having a kid at 16 would be torture because that would mean the wife would have gotten pregnant around 15 and would not be in a stable situation. A 40 year old has experience, money, and a stable living state.
