A 300 gram frog jumps into the air leaving the ground with a vertical speed of 1.2 m/s. How high above the ground in meters can the frog jump? The frog is momentarily stopped at the highest point of its jump. If you're looking at the image
the frog is at its maximum height above the person's hand and is momentarily stopped in the air just before landing on the person
Set the origin at the point where the frog jumps with y-direction pointed upward. Assume no air resistance.
The frog is in "free-fall" even though its going upward. HINT: Is the mass of the frog really needed?
