A cone and a cylinder have equal-sized bases with an 8 inch diameter They both have a height of 6 in How can you find the volume of both figures without using the two separate formulas?

A. Fine the volume of the cylinder divide the cylinders volume by two to find the volume of the cone.

B. Find the volume of the cone. Multiply the cones volume by two to find the volume of the cylinder.

C. Find the volume of the cylinder. Divide the cylinders while you buy three to find the volume of the cone.

D. Find the volume of the cone. Multiply the cons volume by eight to find the volume of the cylinder.

E. Find the volume of the cylinder. Since both figures have the same circular base their volumes are equal. So the cones volume is the same as the cylinders volume.
