Let  y represent the total fee, and let  x represent the number of months.

Equation 1:

y=40+70x

Equation 2:

y=190+60x

Now let Solve for  x and y :

40+70x=190+60x

10x=150

x=150/10

x=15

y=190+60(15)

y=190+900

y=1,090
