Jason works at Taco Bell and earns $7.25 an hour. His manager notices that business is slow and decides to send him home one hour early but a few minutes later a
customer came in with a large order and with only one employee left, they would not
be able to complete the order fast enough to satisfy the customer, so he left, causing
the restaurant to lose $78.00.
Explain whether the manager's decision was rational or irrational. Include the marginal
cost (dollar amount) and the marginal benefit (dollar amount) of his decision in your
answer.
