There is a spinner with 14 equal areas, numbered 1 through 14. if the spinner is spun one time, what is the probability that the result is a multiple of 2 or a multiple of 5?

Astick 2 m long is placed vertically at point b. the top of the stick is in line with the top of a tree as seen from point a, which is 3 m from the stick and 30 m from the tree. how tall is the tree?

What is the answer to this question? i'm a bit stumped. also how do i do it? 5(x - 4) = 2(x + 5)
