5×10^-7 = 0.0000005 
When 10 is to a negative power, you move the decimal to the left because the number is less than positive 1. Here 10 is to the power of -7, so you move the decimal (which is after/behind 5) to the left 7 times. 

So don't take my word i'm not exactly a mathematical person but i would assume a. because while selling the soap every month you increase in sells so you would by 11 percent. the you would get the factor 0.89 which if i had to guess would be the monthly profit over 11 probably wrong tho
