Q: Jeanne, Lori, and Kendall are brother and sisters. They started saving money in their piggy bank at the same time. Jeanne started with $1 in her piggy bank and saved $5 every 3 weeks. Lori started with $8 in her piggy bank and had just as much money as Jeanne after saving the same amount of money for 6 weeks. Kendall had $15 total after saving the same amount of money for 6 weeks and $17 after saving the same amount of money for 8 weeks. Let y represent how much total money each kid has in their piggy bank and x represents how many weeks the kids have been saving their money. Part A) Write an equation that represents each kid.

Part B) Who will have $20 in their piggy bank first? Explain how you know.
