4. Another of Dr Trotter's equations predicts height (H) from a known tibia length (7) (this is a second formula). H = 2.52T + 78.62 (H&T are measured in cm).

a. The length of the tibia from one of our missing hikers found in Arizona (CW#9) is 41.6cm. Use Dr
Trotter's 2nd formula to predict the person's height. Is your answer a reasonable height for a
person?

b. Use your predicted height from 4a and your formula from 3b to predict the length of the femur of
a person with the 41.6cm tibia. Which femur length from our missing hikers found in Arizona
(CW#9) 41.5, 41.4 or 50.8 is closest to your prediction?

c. Show your work and use the 2nd equation (H = 2.52T + 78.62) to find the tibia's length (T).
