i am one mile off the coast and wish to get to a town three miles down a rocky coast as shown im the givire to the right. I need to swim to the shore and then walk along the shore. at what point x should I swim two along the shoreline so that the time it takes to get to town is a minimum? i can swim 2 mph and walk 4mph.
