Decades later another astronaut repeats the same experiment on Mars, dropping a hammer and a feather simultaneously from a height of 1.00 m. Mars does have an atmosphere but it is
so thin we can neglect it for this calculation so both the hammer and feather hit the ground at
the same time. The acceleration of gravity on Mars is 38% that of the Earth.
a) How long do they take to hit the ground?
b) What is their velocity just before they hit the ground?
