Its population was expected to increase at the rate of 10 people per day. The metropolitan area of Tampa Bay was estimated to have a population of 2,067,000 at the end of 1993. Its population was expected to increase at the rate of 130 people per day. Assume there are 365 days in a year.

The equation for Pittsburgh is 2,377,800 + 10x

The equation for Tampa is 2,067,000 + 130x
