In a geometry class, the students have to calculate perimeters and areas of plane figures like triangles, quadrilaterals and circles. The teacher should emphasize the different concepts attached to the lessons on perimeters and areas of plane figures. In order for him to succeed in the delivery of his lessons, he decided to assess the prior knowledge of his students in the said lessons. What method(s) would you recommend the teacher? Why?
