the length of the abcd trapezoid sides:

|bc| = 10 cm

the perimeter of abcd = 3 + 10 + 9 + 8 = 30 cm

the ratio of perimeters of the tarapezoids is equal 2 : 3.

substitute:

      cross multiply

      divide both sides by 3

all of the measures need to be converted to the same measure; such as inches. if you do that it is easy to determine which is the longest, 2500 mm which is approximately 97.5 inches.
