If $37 were spent, how many ride tickets were purchased?

If a person bought 12 ride tickets, how much did they spend?

There have been two proposals for ticket sales. The first proposes a base fee of $5 for entry into the park and $0.50 per ride. The second plan has no base fee, but charges $0.75 per ride.

After how many rides would the cost be equal?
