Help me do 1/6+1/4 make sure the demonator is the same

 - We do this because in order to add these, they must have the same denominator. So you must find the LCF, (Least Common Factor) of 6 and 4.

 - changes to by multiplying the numerator and denominator by 2. And   changes to because you multiply the numerator and denominator by 3.

 - Since both fractions have the same denominator all you have to do is add the numerators together.
