In 2000, the moose population in a park was measured to be 4500. By 2010, the population had grown to 8000. Assume the population continues to grow linearly. a) Showing all necessary work, find a formula for the population, P(t) , where t is years since 2000.
b) Using complete sentences, interpret the slope of the formula in part a in the context of the problem.
