Part A: Is there any correlation between the number of workers in a factory and the number of units produced daily? Justify your answer. (4
points)
Part B: Write a function which best fits the data. (3 points)
Part C: What does the slope and y-intercept of the plot indicate? (3 points)
(10 points)
Part A: There is a positive correlation. As the amount rises, so does the number.
Part B: 102=5x+
Part C. The slope indicates that the line is raised by 5 points every time, and the y-intercept is

Here is their argument. given the obtuse angle x, we make a quadrilateral abcd with ∠dab = x, and ∠abc = 90◦, and ad = bc. say the perpendicular bisector to dc meets the perpendicular bisector to ab at p. then pa = pb and pc = pd. so the triangles pad and pbc have equal sides and are congruent. thus ∠pad = ∠pbc. but pab is isosceles, hence ∠pab = ∠pba. subtracting, gives x = ∠pad−∠pab = ∠pbc −∠pba = 90◦. this is a preposterous conclusion – just where is the mistake in the "proof" and why does the argument break down there?

Jamie is hiking up a small mountain. he climbs up at a constant rate of 300 feet/hour until he reaches the peak at 1,500 feet. after that, he hikes down at the same rate to the base of the mountain. the equation that models jamie’s elevation, e, after t hours is e = . jamie’s elevation will be 600 feet after hours and after hours.
