You choose to go up or down based off of whether it is positive or negative. If it is negative you go down, positive you go up. The go left or right a certain amount of times based off the denominator (for number 1 it would be 3 times). Go left for negative and right for positive. Remember RISE OVER RUN!!! Go up or down then go left or right
