Atoms contain neutrons, electrons, and protons. Neutrons contain neither a negative nor a positive charge. In other words, neutrons contain no charge at all. However, electrons contain a negative charge and protons contain positive charge. With that considered, let say there is an atom that contains 8 neutrons, 5 electrons and 5 protons. What is the charge of this atom?
