Average = Mean = "typical" or "middle"=> central

Ex:

4+3+1+6+1+7

Arithmetic Mean- 4+3+1+6+1+7  over the amount of numbers in this case 6. So this fraction equals 22 over six or 3 and 2/3.

To find the Median order the numbers from least to gratest. the circle the middle number.

Ex: 0, 7, 50, 10,000, 1,000,000

Circle the 50 since it is on the middle

If there is two numbers in the middle circle both then find the middle in between both numbers.

Ex: 1, 1, 3, 4, 6, 7,

Circle the 3 and 4.

Find the halfway point in between, in this case, 3.5.

Mode is the number that shows up the most in a group of numbers.

Ex: 4, 3, 1, 6, 1, 7

The one shows up twice while the other numbers show up once.
