The diagram shows a telescope fitted with parabolic, hyperbolic, and elliptical mirrors. The focus of the parabola coincides with one of the foci of the hyperbola. The second focus of the hyperbola coincides with one of the foci of the ellipse, and the other
focus of the ellipse is located at the eyeplece. A ray of light parallel to the parabolic axis enters the telescope, as shown, and
hits the parabolic surface.
Draw lines on the dlagram to show how the light ray will be reflected by each conic surface.
