Okay, so let's think about this problem first. In order to tie the game up, how many runes does her team need to tie? 17 - 6 = 11 runs. But it asks to win, so we just add one more. 12 runs :-) easy? Now, the opposing team doesn't score, so even easier lol so in the 4 innings, her team needs to score 12 points. r = runs per inning. So,
4 r greater than or equal to 12
r is greater than or equal to 3.
