Hi, I've tried approaching this question. Doe anyone know how to solve it? The first few powers of 9 are 9^{0} = 1, 9^{1} = 9, 9^{2} = 81, 9^{3} = 729. Prove by strong induction that 9^{n} ends in 1 (unit digits = 1) if n is even and ends in 9 if n is odd.
