First, change the mixed fraction into improper fraction. To do that multiply the whole number(43) by the denominator (4) and add the product and the numerator(3) and divide the answer by the denominator(4). That is (43*4)+3=175/4
Then multiply the fraction by 100 which is 175/4 *100=4375% Therefore as a percentage 43 and 3 fourths is 4375
