I'm a little confused with these questions. Someone help me! a) 2 squares have side lengths 5cm and 2 cm. Determine the area of a single square with an area equal to the combined area of these two squares.

b) 3 cubes have side lengths 1 cm, 6 cm and 8cm. Determine the side length of a single cube equal in volume to the combined volume of these 3 squares.
