How do I write a quadratic equation in standard form with given roots, when one or both of the roots are fractions? For example, if the roots were 1 and 1/2 and I put {x}^{2}  + 1.5x + 0.5
apparently that's not correct because the coefficients are fractions, but I'm not sure how to fix it.​
