We live in the present as we study the past in  order to learn what  to do in the future on this planet and possibly other. We learn to be humanities  while at the same time we practice as scientists.  From this quote the reader can understand that both of these statements are similar but they are just reworded. In closing, This why I think that Aronson and Carnes will agree to what to what there statement was.
